Meet Dr. Benjamin Gubernick
Dr. Benjamin J. Gubernick was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Florida with his family when he was only six months old. He was raised in Palm City and considered himself a Florida native. Dr. Gubernick knew from a young age that he wanted to become a dentist due to the unique blend of science and art that dentistry entails.
Upon graduating from the University of Florida in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland, to pursue his dream at the prestigious University Of Maryland College Of Dental Surgery. Dr. Gubernick graduated with his doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) in 2015. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. This additional post-graduate training allowed him to enhance his skills in restorative and surgical dentistry. Dr. Gubernick is pleased to be a part of Flex Dental and looks forward to being an integral part of the Tampa community and helping his neighbors achieve excellent oral health.

Moving to a new city brings all the headaches of finding new providers of healthcare, including dentists. I did a lot of research and Flex Dental and Dr. Gubernick kept getting rave reviews and now I see why. The staff is very friendly and professional. My initial meeting included full X-rays and then a review with Dr. G. He didn't rush the consultation and explained where I might want to "work" on things, but there was no pushy "sales job" like you get at so many of the dental chains out there. I went back a few days later for a full cleaning after having gone more than a year without one, due to the transition, and it was gentle, painless, and comfortable. If you're skittish about seeing a dentist, you have to try Flex Dental.
