I have tried a few dentists in the Tampa Bay Area since moving here in 2017. This is by far the best I have had. Everyone in the office actually cares about your treatment and they aren’t just trying to run you through like you are part of an assembly line like all the dental offices I have visited in Tampa. I have had a routine visit, cleaning and a crown done here and have nothing negative to say about any of my visits. If you are looking for a dentist in Tampa, this place is a gem.

My first visit at Flex Dental was just perfect! Julia took some cool digital x-rays. Dr. Ben came in to introduce himself and to welcome me to the practice. He was warm and personable, and had already looked at my x-rays so we could plan for some future work. Julia provided a basic cleaning and I was out of there in less than an hour. I came as a refugee from the medical abomination that refers to itself as Greenberg dental. I had quite a few fillings done at Flex Dental. It is a night and day comparison. They are perfect in every way. My first consultation visit was very detailed. They were incredibly friendly, communicative, fair, and professional. They make dental work affordable, and don't pressure you into major decisions or sneak in fees for dubious procedures. They work quickly and efficiently and listened to all of my concerns. They are officially and unequivocally the only dentist I will recommend to anyone who needs work done!
Just moved to Tampa, but my husband moved here first months ago because of his relocation. So he already chose here for our new dentist and already had a cleaning here. I cracked a tooth and was in so much pain… They took me in quickly and root canal-ed me and got me out of pain so fast. They were vert sweet and funny and kind. I heard the doctor talking to other patients and he seemed to know everyone! They all asked about his kids. I'm a Gator, and it didn't hurt seeing the University of Florida diploma on the wall!

Big Shout out to Flex Dental.! Doctor Benjamin and staff were great.! I was in pain for about a month with a tooth ache. I found Flex Dental thru my metlife network. Filled out the online info and was contacted within 20 mins. They scheduled me same day, so within a couple hours they had me on the chair helping to relieve the pain I was having. Now Doctor Benjamin and staff will be my permeant Dentist. I'm so happy I found a great Dentistry.. The office is centrally located, staff was professional and very nice. I was on Vacation and I noticed my Jaw was locking up and I was having some pain. I called them they were able to get me an appointment same day. I've been taking the antibiotics and I'm feeling great. The price was extremely fair and they didn't push anything on me. They were very understanding of my situation. If I lived close by I would go to this dentist. Very pleased.

I was accepted as an emergency visit they took the time and care to make sure i was comfortable. I have a very huge phobia when it comes to dentists. They did everything to put me at ease and made the entire process painless. They made sure they were able to get me to a specialist within the same hour to have a root canal done. 2 hours later i am pain free and could not be happier with my experience. I have a bunch of work that i will be having done here 10/10 thank you guys so much

Came back here after a very unpleasant experience with a dental office apparently owned by a large corporation. In comparison this practice is small, intimate, and full of well-meaning honest individuals. No one ever “up-sells” anything and if a patient declines a treatment, ok, no problem, they’ll work with you. Even thought it’s a bit of a drive, I’ll probably continue to see this practice for a long time.

That department is an important component of good interaction with a medical practice. Then the dental staff were pleasant and informative as they helped me through X-rays and cleaning -- Renzo is a great hygienist. Dr. Gubernick was very personable and professional as he checked out my oral health and explained his approach to my treatment. Everyone treated me with respect, kindness and caring -- smiles all around. Update: Still very happy after regular cleanings and a new crown. Dr. Gubernik is still running a first-class operation.

I highly recommend Flex Dental. I just moved to the area so I took a chance on a new place. The work I had done was a routine clean, filling, teeth whitening and tooth bonding to fix a small gap between my front teeth. Every bit of the work done by Dr. Gubernick, Ellie and Julia was top notch. My teeth are now two shades whiter and the gap is now gone. You could never tell the material was not my actual teeth. My insurance did not cover the whitening or the bonding as it was cosmetic but they were both surprisingly inexpensive. Also every office has a tv with HGTV on which helps distract from any discomfort. The whole team is very personable and also puts you at ease with great conversation. Julia is super funny. Will always come back here.

Dr. B is great!I didn't have insurance when I went to him and he was recommended by my father, who was a patient of his. It was worth it and I will remain his patient. Dr. B is personable and down-to-earth. Renzer is an excellent hygienist.
I was looking for a dentist closer to my place and decided to go with Flex dental. Have been here only once so far and it was a great experience. Everyone was professional, friendly and education-oriented, which I appreciate because I like to know what's being suggested and why. As someone who used to be a dental assistant herself, I have high expectations from dental offices and this one certainly met my expectations. The place was uber clean and well organized.... very pleasant to be in. The only thing that prevented a 5 star was the long wait before I was taken in. To add, no one checked with me or informed me of how long the wait would be. They were polite and courteous to acknowledge the delay once they took me in though, which I respect very much. All in all, I was happy and now my husband is their patient too. We will be back for sure.
This place was amazing. The hygienist was efficient and kind, the doctor was succinct and knowledgeable. From the moment of reception, we felt like this was the right place. My children are 6 and 7 so I pay attention to that kind of thing. My children were not scared, they felt welcome. Thank you guys.

Good experience. Small space that seems under construction, but personable staff. The dental hygienist and dentist were friendly and both caring and direct about my teeth. The receptionists were not always attentive, but the overall experience was good.
I really enjoyed my experience today. From the attention received at the front desk to the Dental hygienist and the doctor. The dental hygienist was so gentle, delicate and subtle. I did not feel any pain nor did I feel uncomfortable. I also received the same treatment from the doctor. They are both great. Definitely will come back and refer it to my friends and family.

My first visit to Flex Dental was a very positive experience. The office crew was great to work with from the first phone call to arriving for my appointment and sorting out my insurance coverage. That department is an important component of good interaction with a medical practice. Then the dental staff were pleasant and informative as they helped me through X-rays and cleaning -- Renzo is a great hygienist. Dr. Gubernick was very personable and professional as he checked out my oral health and explained his approach to my treatment. Everyone treated me with respect, kindness and caring -- smiles all around.

Every visit here is wonderful! The office is extremely clean and I never have to wait too long before being seen. Today, the hygienist was ready for me as soon as I walked in the door. They also offer later appointments on Thursday, which is super convenient with my work schedule. I’ve been a patient for a little over a year and I’m so glad I found this office!

I'm so happy I found this place! I used to DESPISE the dentist, but Dr. Gubernick is the best!!! I hate one of the tools frequently used during cleanings, and he not only remembered that I hated it, but also found a way around it. Plus, I get free whitenings for life! They are very thorough in explaining everything and making sure you are comfortable during the whole process. Samantha, the office manager, worked so hard to get me in when my insurance provider was being stupid and telling me the office didn't accept my insurance, when they actually did. Would definitely recommend to anybody.

Recently paid a visit to get a cleaning done, and take a look at some cavities I had on my back molars. Doctor Renzer took care of the cleaning with great detail, took his time, and did a wonderful job. They scheduled me to come next day, and Doctor Benjamin then took care of the cavities, repaired them with excellence and lots of professionalism. There was no pain, no buggy anesthetic feels in the mouth for the whole day, so couldn't be happier about my dental hygiene right now. These two definitely make a great couple as hygienist and dentist, make sure to pay them a visit as well.

Excellent staff! I was able to be seen the day after I called and not only did they solve my dental issue but hell set me in the right path for finishing my dental implant. Dr. Ben and his team at Floss Dental are all genuinely wonderful professionals. They made me feel right at home making sure I was comfortable every step of the way throughout the exam and cleaning. They also were able to set an appointment right away and immediately assisted me when I arrived. It has been almost two years since I visited a dentist and I wish I would have come to them sooner!

I have been looking for a trustworthy dental clinic in Tampa for a while and I am so glad I found Floss Dental. The clinic, the doctor and the staff are incredibly nice.
Went in for a new patient X-ray and cleaning and I was really happy with my experience. I was there for a total of 45 minuets and that has never been the case at any other dentist I’ve ever been to. Usually there is a lot of waiting in between each interaction, but not here. Although it was quick, the cleaning and information was thorough.

Today I can honestly say my experience with Dr. Gubernick and his staff was amazing and for the first time in my life I actually look forward to going back to the dentist. The office was modern, clean, and my appointment was on time. Dr. Gubernick aswered all my questions without hesitation and my no means were he or his staff pushy on any of the treatments I needed done. I am a self pay and they offered me flexible payment terms to come and get the additional work I need done to my poor molars that I have neglected for too tong. I am glad I went to my appointment today and can finally say I have a dentist I can go to and trust in the long term.

I'm so happy I found this place! I used to DESPISE the dentist, but Dr. Gubernick is the best!!! I hate one of the tools frequently used during cleanings, and he not only remembered that I hated it, but also found a way around it. Plus, I get free whitenings for life! Everyone in the office actually cares about your treatment and they aren’t just trying to run you through like you are part of an assembly line like all the dental offices I have visited in Tampa. I have had a routine visit, cleaning and a crown done here and have nothing negative to say about any of my visits. If you are looking for a dentist in Tampa, this place is a gem.

My first visit at Flex Dental was just perfect! Julia took some cool digital x-rays. Dr. Ben came in to introduce himself and to welcome me to the practice. He was warm and personable, and had already looked at my x-rays so we could plan for some future work. Julia provided a basic cleaning and I was out of there in less than an hour. I came as a refugee from the medical abomination that refers to itself as Greenberg dental. I had quite a few fillings done at Flex Dental. It is a night and day comparison. They are perfect in every way. My first consultation visit was very detailed. They were incredibly friendly, communicative, fair, and professional. They make dental work affordable, and don't pressure you into major decisions or sneak in fees for dubious procedures. They work quickly and efficiently and listened to all of my concerns. They are officially and unequivocally the only dentist I will recommend to anyone who needs work done!
Just moved to Tampa, but my husband moved here first months ago because of his relocation. So he already chose here for our new dentist and already had a cleaning here. I cracked a tooth and was in so much pain… They took me in quickly and root canal-ed me and got me out of pain so fast. They were vert sweet and funny and kind. I heard the doctor talking to other patients and he seemed to know everyone! They all asked about his kids. I'm a Gator, and it didn't hurt seeing the University of Florida diploma on the wall!

Big Shout out to Flex Dental.! Doctor Benjamin and staff were great.! I was in pain for about a month with a tooth ache. I found Flex Dental thru my metlife network. Filled out the online info and was contacted within 20 mins. They scheduled me same day, so within a couple hours they had me on the chair helping to relieve the pain I was having. Now Doctor Benjamin and staff will be my permeant Dentist. I'm so happy I found a great Dentistry.. The office is centrally located, staff was professional and very nice. I was on Vacation and I noticed my Jaw was locking up and I was having some pain. I called them they were able to get me an appointment same day. I've been taking the antibiotics and I'm feeling great. The price was extremely fair and they didn't push anything on me. They were very understanding of my situation. This is the best dental practice I've ever been to! Julia was amazing! She was very sweet and compassionate, and also very genuine. I appreciated her authenticity. Dr. Benjamin was very kind as well, and was incredibly gentle with my teeth and gums, unlike the other dentist I went to, who yelled and jammed the scraper into my gums until I cried and had an anxiety attack. Dr. Benjamin on the other hand made me want to cry from his and his teams outstanding service. I appreciate everything about this practice. Amazing! I haven’t been to a dentist in 25 years, and then I broke a molar. Dr Gubernick was super nice and didn’t chastise me for avoiding the dentist for so long. He put a plan together to get my teeth and gums back on track. Julyah, the dental assistant, was a hoot and made the appointment so much fun. I am going back next week to get my molar crowned and a filling done, which is saying a lot. I highly recommend Flex Dental!

I was accepted as an emergency visit they took the time and care to make sure i was comfortable. I have a very huge phobia when it comes to dentists. They did everything to put me at ease and made the entire process painless. They made sure they were able to get me to a specialist within the same hour to have a root canal done. 2 hours later i am pain free and could not be happier with my experience. I have a bunch of work that i will be having done here 10/10 thank you guys so much

Came back here after a very unpleasant experience with a dental office apparently owned by a large corporation. In comparison this practice is small, intimate, and full of well-meaning honest individuals. No one ever “up-sells” anything and if a patient declines a treatment, ok, no problem, they’ll work with you. Even thought it’s a bit of a drive, I’ll probably continue to see this practice for a long time.

I've had a lot of bad experiences with countless dentist which has lead to having bad dental anxiety. Dr. Grubernick is very senstive to that. He is gentle and makes sure to explain every single process so you know what to expect and feel comfortable. My first visit to Flex Dental was a very positive experience. The office crew was great to work with from the first phone call to arriving for my appointment and sorting out my insurance coverage. That department is an important component of good interaction with a medical practice. Then the dental staff were pleasant and informative as they helped me through X-rays and cleaning -- Renzo is a great hygienist. Dr. Gubernick was very personable and professional as he checked out my oral health and explained his approach to my treatment. Everyone treated me with respect, kindness and caring -- smiles all around. Update: Still very happy after regular cleanings and a new crown. Dr. Gubernik is still running a first-class operation.

I highly recommend Flex Dental. I just moved to the area so I took a chance on a new place. The work I had done was a routine clean, filling, teeth whitening and tooth bonding to fix a small gap between my front teeth. Every bit of the work done by Dr. Gubernick, Ellie and Julia was top notch. My teeth are now two shades whiter and the gap is now gone. You could never tell the material was not my actual teeth. My insurance did not cover the whitening or the bonding as it was cosmetic but they were both surprisingly inexpensive. Also every office has a tv with HGTV on which helps distract from any discomfort. The whole team is very personable and also puts you at ease with great conversation. Julia is super funny. Will always come back here.

I was looking for a dentist closer to my place and decided to go with Flex dental. Have been here only once so far and it was a great experience. Everyone was professional, friendly and education-oriented, which I appreciate because I like to know what's being suggested and why. As someone who used to be a dental assistant herself, I have high expectations from dental offices and this one certainly met my expectations. The place was uber clean and well organized.... very pleasant to be in. The only thing that prevented a 5 star was the long wait before I was taken in. To add, no one checked with me or informed me of how long the wait would be. They were polite and courteous to acknowledge the delay once they took me in though, which I respect very much. All in all, I was happy and now my husband is their patient too. We will be back for sure.

This is a great office with a friendly and caring staff! Everyone makes you feel like you’re at home and comfortable. Great exam given and they go over everything thoroughly during your cleaning! It was easy becoming a new patient here as well! There was no wait time and they answer any questions you have. Would recommend to everyone!

My first visit to Flex Dental was a very positive experience. The office crew was great to work with from the first phone call to arriving for my appointment and sorting out my insurance coverage. That department is an important component of good interaction with a medical practice. Then the dental staff were pleasant and informative as they helped me through X-rays and cleaning -- Renzo is a great hygienist. Dr. Gubernick was very personable and professional as he checked out my oral health and explained his approach to my treatment. Everyone treated me with respect, kindness and caring -- smiles all around.

Every visit here is wonderful! The office is extremely clean and I never have to wait too long before being seen. Today, the hygienist was ready for me as soon as I walked in the door. They also offer later appointments on Thursday, which is super convenient with my work schedule. I’ve been a patient for a little over a year and I’m so glad I found this office!

I'm so happy I found this place! I used to DESPISE the dentist, but Dr. Gubernick is the best!!! I hate one of the tools frequently used during cleanings, and he not only remembered that I hated it, but also found a way around it. Plus, I get free whitenings for life! Recently paid a visit to get a cleaning done, and take a look at some cavities I had on my back molars. Doctor Renzer took care of the cleaning with great detail, took his time, and did a wonderful job. They scheduled me to come next day, and Doctor Benjamin then took care of the cavities, repaired them with excellence and lots of professionalism. There was no pain, no buggy anesthetic feels in the mouth for the whole day, so couldn't be happier about my dental hygiene right now. These two definitely make a great couple as hygienist and dentist, make sure to pay them a visit as well.

Went in for a new patient X-ray and cleaning and I was really happy with my experience. I was there for a total of 45 minuets and that has never been the case at any other dentist I’ve ever been to. Usually there is a lot of waiting in between each interaction, but not here. Although it was quick, the cleaning and information was thorough.

I went to Floss for the first time today and I was pleasantly suprised. Like many people I have a slight case of anxiety expecting the worse when going to the dentist. Today I can honestly say my experience with Dr. Gubernick and his staff was amazing and for the first time in my life I actually look forward to going back to the dentist. The office was modern, clean, and my appointment was on time. Dr. Gubernick aswered all my questions without hesitation and my no means were he or his staff pushy on any of the treatments I needed done. I am a self pay and they offered me flexible payment terms to come and get the additional work I need done to my poor molars that I have neglected for too tong. I am glad I went to my appointment today and can finally say I have a dentist I can go to and trust in the long term.

I have had such a wonderful experience at FLOSS from the minute I walked in. They have such great etiquette with their clients they are kind and care about any patient concerns. The dental exams are very thorough and the cleaning is great . I am very pleased that I was able to find such a great dental clinic upon my move to the area .

I'm so happy I found this place! I used to DESPISE the dentist, but Dr. Gubernick is the best!!! I hate one of the tools frequently used during cleanings, and he not only remembered that I hated it, but also found a way around it. Plus, I get free whitenings for life! I'm so pleased with the customer service I receive at this place, and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Dr. Gubernick is phenomenal. He explains all procedures in detail and is very in tune with the needs of the patient. His office staff are kind, knowledgeable, and make for a great experience. I visited him on the recommendation of a friend because his office is conveniently located downtown, and I became a permanent patient already. I HIGHLY recommend his expertise for patients of all ages.

Excellent staff! I was able to be seen the day after I called and not only did they solve my dental issue but hell set me in the right path for finishing my dental implant. Dr. Gubernick listened to all of my concerns and was very knowledgeable. Being new to the Tampa area, I have no problem saying I will be returning to FLOSS!

I thought this place might be too good to be true after seeing the Mail advertisement. I had my first exam and cleaning this week and I couldn't recommend them more. I already have an appointment to go back and get my free teeth whitening! Everyone was so kind and the location was great too.
